Medical Aesthetics of Virginia was established in 2016, our goal has always been to provide the very best medical-grade skin care in Norfolk, VA. We’ve created a safe, comfortable, and professional environment where you can relax and experience the best in medical-grade skin care products and treatments. Our focus is on providing high-end, superior quality facial rejuvenation services and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Kelli Overmann, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Kelli is a board certified nurse practitioner specializing in injectables and aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Old Dominion University in 2023. She brings over 20 years of nursing experience from a wide variety of clinical settings on both the East and West Coasts.
Kelli believes the role of aesthetic medicine is to assist her patients in feeling refreshed, confident, and authentically themselves. Kelli specializes in creating natural results over time by utilizing multiple modalities to address the cause and effects of facial aging.
Outside of the clinic, Kelli enjoys spending time with family and friends, experiencing new people and places via travel, being surrounded by nearly any body of water, and engaging in spirited debates over astoundingly nerdy topics.
Erin Kuehne, LMA
Master Aesthetician
Erin is a licensed Master Esthetician and laser specialist dedicated to helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin through personalized, results-driven treatment plans. She has 14 years of experience in laser hair removal, and has a passion for helping clients with endocrine disorder related hair growth. Erin believes beautiful, healthy skin is built through consistency, and pairing advanced in-office treatments with customized at-home skin care routines.
When she isn’t in the office, you can find Erin spending time with her husband Ian, children Jake and Ady, and her sweet pets. Erin loves to overbook her weekends with concerts, baseball, and home projects.
Kaity Collins, LMA
Master Aesthetician
With over eight years of experience in aesthetics, Kaity is passionate about helping her clients achieve healthy, confident skin through personalized treatment plans and education. Kaity earned her Master Esthetics license from the Chrysm Institute in 2018 and spent two and a half years working as a medical assistant in dermatology, where she gained valuable experience treating a wide variety of skin concerns.Since 2022, she has been proud to serve clients at MAVA, specializing in microneedling, Morpheus8, chemical peels, and customized facial treatments.
One of her greatest passions is creating realistic, results-driven skincare regimens that combine medical-grade products with budget-friendly alternatives, making effective skincare accessible and sustainable for every client. Kaity’s goal is to build lasting relationships by providing honest recommendations, personalized care, and treatments that help each client look and feel their very best. Outside of work Kaity is a mom of 2 who enjoys being outside and escaping into a good book
Sam Atkins
Office Manager
Sam Atkins brings 20 years of medical field experience to Medical Aesthetics of Virginia. For the past 10 years, she has been the welcoming presence greeting clients and the backbone of the practice, helping set the tone for their exceptional care.
Sam loves connecting with clients and making them feel comfortable and cared for. From managing the day-to-day operations of the practice to ensuring the team has everything they need to deliver top-tier treatments, she is dedicated to the success of MAVA and the happiness of every client who walks through the door.
When she’s not keeping MAVA running smoothly, Sam is likely planning her next adventure, enjoying a concert, or finding any excuse to spend time with family and friends. She believes the best memories are made with the people you love and that a good laugh can make almost anything better.
Jo Meyer
Administrator
Jo serves as Administrator at Medical Aesthetics of Virginia (MAVA). Originally from England, Jo moved to the USA in 1997 and has spent the last decade helping manage the Practice from its opening to its 10th anniversary. She focuses on maintaining a safe, organized environment where patients receive consistent, high-quality care. Jo’s practical approach to operations and commitment to dependable service make her a central part of the MAVA’s long-term team.
When she isn't managing spreadsheets and compliance protocols, Jo heads straight for the great outdoors. She loves spending time out on the water or sitting down for a board game with her husband. She has also developed an unexpected hobby: with every year that passes, she finds herself increasingly fascinated by local birds.
Keith Nichols, MD, RPVI
Medical Director
Dr. Keith Nichols is highly experienced physician specializing in aesthetic, venous and lymphatic medicine, with more than 20 years dedicated to diagnosing and treating these conditions.
He is passionate about helping patients achieve improved comfort, mobility, and confidence through modern, minimally invasive, in-office procedures.
His patient-centered approach focuses on personalized care plans that utilize advanced, evidence-based treatment techniques to ensure safe, effective, and comfortable treatment outcomes.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nichols values giving back to the community. He previously founded and directed a free medical clinic in Virginia and remains committed to supporting community outreach.
